Released in 1980, the AMS DMX 15‑80S took digital delay to the next level. A fully stereo, microprocessor-controlled unit with independent delay channels, harmony-capable pitch shifting, and optional Loop Editing sampling, it set a new benchmark for studio processors.
A staple in the golden age of analogue/digital crossover, it powered iconic productions from the likes of Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel, and became a fixture at Genesis’s The Farm studio.
